Meet Nicole Sandefur - Activities Assistant

Nicole SandefurNicole Sandefur, Activities Assistant to Tammy Worley, graduated from high school in Agoura Hills and attended Sonoma State University. As she studied toward a BS in kinesiology and a BA in psychology, she found time for flag football, being captain of the intramural dodgeball team and playing in intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse for Sonoma State. After graduating, Nicole established her own business, doing life coaching and personal training to help people develop and reach healthy lifestyle goals.

Engaged to her high school sweetheart, Konrad, Nicole hopes to be married next year. Their pet is a Manx/Siamese cat, Hercules, who has no tail and who hops but doesn't run. Nicole's family is local; her mother is a nurse and has a consulting business. Her brother is a musician on a cruise line, and Nicole hopes to bring him to UVTO to do a musical program when he is back on land. She enjoys the beach, boogie-boarding, arts and crafts, and especially going to baseball games. Nicole's a huge Dodger fan!

As Activities Assistant, Nicole is enjoying leading excursions - and solving the challenges which inevitably arise. She assists Tammy Worley in all phases of activities, and is doing most of the activities-related flyers. "I'm excited to be here," Nicole tells us, "and it's been an easy transition because everyone has been so helpful."
