Cal Lutheran Class Audits
Auditing classes at CLU is one of the educational privileges of living at UV. Most classes meet two or three times a week for a semester. Auditors participate as "students," but are not required to take tests and do not receive credit. Of the several residents who have audited CLU classes, three share their experiences and enthusiasm.

After checking the Activities Desk roster of open classes at CLU, and receiving an OK from the professor, I then audited a fall semester class in contemporary philosophy. It brought back memories of my own college course 59 years ago in the history of philosophy.
The class was a very small senior seminar (6 students) with a fascinating professor. What fun it was to read, study questions proffered by the professor, enjoy other students’ presentations and never have to take any tests or write any papers!
