'Book Bag' Bags New Books
THOUSAND OAKS, CALIF. - Residents of University Village Thousand Oaks, the continuing care retirement community in Thousand Oaks, Calif., recently donated more than 250 books from the University Village library to the Book Bag book store in Thousand Oaks. The Book Bag is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting literacy and the love of reading.
More than 14 bags of books were delivered to the store. On hand for the book drop were (left to right) store manager Denise Powell and University Village residents Bette Johnson, Sid Johnson and Margaret Coe.
