University Village's main campus is filled with all kinds of independent living amenities, including card rooms, a billiards room, putting green, computer lab, short-game golf, bocce ball, pool and spa, fitness center, and more. Having the Health Center adjacent to the villas, Garden Terraces, and apartment homes gives residents easy access to skilled nursing care services on a short or long-term basis, if they ever need it.
The housing choices at University Village offer something for everyone interested in an independent lifestyle. Set amidst rolling hills, the single-story 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom retirement villas include an attached garage and full kitchen with all appliances included. An emergency call system is standard in every home. Overlooking the hills and golf greens, the Garden Terrace homes are condominium-style residences with detached covered parking. The large covered balconies offer majestic views of the entire Thousand Oaks campus. Surrounding the central courtyard are the 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartment homes. With views of the surrounding hills and of the lushly landscaped central courtyard, these residences are close to all the amenities in the Clubhouse, including the dining room. Like the villas and the garden terraces, all the apartment homes have full kitchens and come equipped with an emergency call system.
